TL;DR
- Choose Exceljet if you like clear, expert-made video courses and a respected reference, and prefer to pay once per course and keep access.
- Choose FormulaCamp if you want to practice in an interactive spreadsheet that checks each task instantly, and want Power Query, DAX and Python in Excel in the same path.
Who each is best for
Exceljet is best for learners who like watching a skilled instructor. Its training page lists on-demand video courses, each video with a practice worksheet: Excel 101 (28 videos), Core Excel (125), Core Formula (117), Core Pivot (59), Dynamic Array Formulas (47), Core Charts (64), Excel Shortcuts (33), Excel Tables (36) and Conditional Formatting (29). Access is permanent, and you learn at your own pace. It is a well-known name in Excel formula help.
FormulaCamp is best for hands-on learners. Short theory, then tasks in a live browser spreadsheet with an instant auto-check on every answer; optional .xlsx tasks for desktop Excel with upload-back checking. 170 lessons in 16 tracks from Beginner to Expert, a 180-function reference, English and Russian.
Where Exceljet is better: video teaching, a trusted brand, deep courses on formulas and PivotTables, and pay-once ownership. If you only need one topic, a single Exceljet course may be all you want. FormulaCamp has no video, no mobile app and no community yet, and its certificate is self-issued (not verified by a third party).
Where FormulaCamp is better: interactivity. Exceljet's page describes video plus practice worksheets and does not describe automatic checking. FormulaCamp also includes tracks that we did not find on Exceljet's training page, such as Power Query, Power Pivot/DAX, VBA, Office Scripts and Python in Excel.
