Task 1 of 2
In C2:C6, convert the prices to euros: price in $ × the rate in F1. Write the formula in C2 and fill it down.
Lesson theory
When you copy a formula down, the addresses in it shift: B2 becomes B3.
But the exchange rate sits in a single cell, and it must not move.
The $ sign locks a reference: $F$1 does not change when you copy. Put the cursor on an address in the formula
and press F4, and the dollar signs appear by themselves.
Enter — commit · F2 — edit · F4 — $ in a reference · Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V — copy and paste · Ctrl+Z — undo
Esc or F6 — leave the sheet for the «Check» button · Shift+Tab in the first cell — back to the page
