MEDIANis the "middle" of a list: half the values are above it and half below. Outliers easily distort the average, but not the median;LARGE(range, k)returns the k-th largest value: 1 is the maximum, 2 is second place, and so on;SMALL(range, k)does the same from the other end;RANK(number, range)gives a number's place in the list (1 is the best). Equal values get the same place.
